8 July 2022: On the occasion of the 4GAMECHANGERS Festival in Vienna, a new future conference in Austria, a charity auction took place at the Dorotheum auction house, where a Leon Löwentraut painting was auctioned off.

Leon Löwentraut, the 24-year-old art star from Düsseldorf, had his painting "Freedom" auctioned by the Viennese auction house "Dorotheum" for a good cause. The auction proceeds will go in equal parts to the aid project "Nachbar in Not - Ukraine-Hilfe" - a cooperation of the Austrian TV station ORF with the organisation "Nachbar in Not" - and the "Clooney Foundation for Justice", founded by Hollywood actor and human rights activist George Clooney and Amal Clooney.

Leon Löwentraut was happy to support the actors' work with his artwork. "I am happy if I can contribute with my art to alleviate people's hardship a little. Furthermore, I would like to support the impressive struggle of Amal and George Clooney for justice and human rights. Their work is of very special importance."

The 24-year-old Leon Löwentraut already has a name in the international art world, with his art inspiring but also polarising. His exhibition openings in New York, London, Vienna, Venice, Munich, Copenhagen and Ibiza, among others, are considered spectacular and are always attended by stars. The business magazine Forbes chose him as one of the "30 under 30" (the 30 most important personalities under 30).

Löwentraut emphasises: "For me, art means freedom!"
