The WOS Gallery in Zurich is expanding. Complementing the space in the old town, gallery owners Daniel Wahrenberger, Claudius Ochsner and Thomas Schafflützel have set up a new 350-square-meter showroom in Pfäffikon on the left bank of Lake Zurich.

A highlight of the exhibition are the brand new works of the Düsseldorf artist Leon Löwentraut.

Last fall, the gallery dedicated itself for the first time to the artistic work of Leon Löwentraut and showed an extensive exhibition of his work, which attracted numerous art fans and collectors to Zurich.

The artist, who is only 24 years old, is particularly pleased about the current exhibition: "It is a great honor for me that my paintings are being shown together with giants of art such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miró or Ernst Ludwig Kirchner," Leon Löwentraut emphasizes.

Born in Kaiserslautern in 1998, Leon Löwentraut has made a name for himself in the art world with impressive speed. His colorful works have already been honored with major solo exhibitions worldwide - including at the Pushkin Museum in St. Petersburg, the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, the venerable Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice, the Kunstforum Vienna and the Bavarian National Museum in Munich.

WOS Galerie was founded in 2019 by Daniel Wahrenberger, Claudius Ochsner, president of the Art Trade Association of Switzerland since 2008, and Thomas Schafflützel. Together, these art connoisseurs have more than fifty years of professional experience in the international art trade with a focus on 20th century European painting, post-war American art, contemporary art, and photography.
