The Hochschule of Kaiserlautern has awarded the Düsseldorf artist Leon Löwentraut a lectureship in the Virtual Design course on "Digital Presentation of Art" for the current winter semester.
Leon Löwentraut is the shooting star of the art scene and gives spectacular vernissages in museums and galleries in Singapore, New York, St. Petersburg, Florence, Venice, Vienna, Zurich and Düsseldorf, among other places.
Now he is developing the "Virtual Design" course in his hometown of Kaiserslautern together with university professors Christian Schmachtenberg and Matthias Pfaff. The artist belongs to the same generation as the students, and that is precisely why it is something very special that he passes on his experience to the students on an equal basis. Leon Löwentraut says of himself that he himself wants to learn a lot by meeting the students, and this makes the art star very likeable.

THE ARTIST
Leon Löwentraut, born in Kaiserslautern in 1998, is one of the most sought-after contemporary painters. His paintings have already been exhibited in New York, London, Copenhagen, Singapore as well as in the Pushkin Museum in St. Petersburg, the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, the renowned Osthaus Museum in Hagen, the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice, the Bank Austria Kunstforum in Vienna and the Bavarian National Museum, among others. Leon Löwentraut was recently selected by Forbes as one of the "30 under 30" (the 30 most important German personalities under 30).
