Mark Ronson is Audemars Piguet's new brand ambassador

British-American DJ, songwriter and record producer Mark Ronson is another high-profile name for Audemars Piguet.

This partnership underlines Audemars Piguet's commitment to the world of music. Together with their new brand ambassador, the aim is to promote new musical talent. Audemars Piguet CEO, François-Henry Bennahmias is enthusiastic about Mark Ronson and says "We have found each other."

Mark Ronson, in turn, has been impressed by Audemars Piguet's attention to detail and combination of analog instruments and soulful master watchmakers. "It's so similar to what we do in our studio with our heritage, in terms of dedication and craftsmanship."

DJ, Academy Award, Golden Globe and 7-time Grammy Award winner and producer Mark Ronson was fascinated by music from a young age. He debuted as a DJ in New York in the late 1990s to much acclaim for his blend of funk, hip-hop and rock. In 2003, he released his debut album Here Comes The Fuzz - but it was his breakthrough 2007 album Version that catapulted him onto the international stage.

He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Queens of the Stone Age. He received Grammys for Producer of the Year for the Amy Winehouse album "Back To Black" and for Record of the Year for his collaboration with Bruno Mars "Uptown Funk." In 2018, he won an Oscar for co-writing "Shallow" from the film A Star Is Born.

In 2021, Mark co-produced and hosted the acclaimed Apple TV+ documentary series "Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson," produced by Morgan Neville. The series explored the creative process and the role new technologies play in musical innovation. He also hosted seasons 1 and 2 of the successful podcast Fader Uncovered. Each episode features in-depth conversations with the world's most important musicians talking about the past, present and future of music and art.
