Fashion, 17. December 2023: Another Valentino gift for Christmas? You have the choice between trainers, rose pumps, bow shoes or hair clips.
A red dress from Valentino used to be a must-have for every wardrobe. Valentino Garavani was recently honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the British Fashion Awards in London. In a magical opera production "An evening at the opera with Valentino", his business partner Giancarlo Giammetti showed 24 of the iconic red dresses.
But accessories are just as important or even more important. In our little gift guide, we show you which Valentino accessories you can use to make a special statement.

Valentino's trainers are not just any trainers, but the Valentino Garavani Freedots 2024 trainers are accentuated with the iconic studs. Crafted from nappa leather and lined with tone-on-tone rubber studs, the trainers convey a touch of punk attitude. Incidentally, the inspiration for the studded relief comes from the Roman Palazzo Bugnato. Just google the palace and you'll be surprised.

Haute Couture shoes
For the Valentino Spring 2024 collection, a historic motif of the house blossoms again on the Valentino Garavani Rose-Rouche 1959 pumps. The new pump finds its foundation in the craftsmanship of couture. Ruching", an atelier technique normally reserved for garments. The origins of the rose in couture go back to the very beginnings of the brand, when the first rose was developed for a dress in 1959.

The Cinderella shoes
There are many bow shoes, but only a couture house knows how to make a bow really dramatic. The oversized, perfectly tied bows are on a flat ballerina shoe and of course feature the gold Vlogo. The Valentino Garavani - Un Chateau Bow Mule was first presented at the Un Château Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023-24 show against the magical backdrop of the Château de Chantilly. A perfect introduction for such a shoe. Also seen at the fashion show on star model Kaia Gerber.

A new it-bag?
The Valentino Garavani - Vlogo Moon bag is a combination of simplicity and Roman opulence, at least as far as the chain is concerned. In the centre of the oversized gold chain is the VLogo, which is shaped in such a way that it forms a handle. At the same time, when you carry the bag, the VLogo appears to be a bracelet.

Hairstyle
The vlogo also looks good in the hair. Hair clips are not just for little princesses, but can also be combined with street style or business combinations. It's the mix that counts. At Valentino it is of course a golden hair clip with Swarovski crystals.
