Economy, 11 November 2023: On 16 November, people will have the chance to meet politicians, CEOs, top athletes and world-famous artists when the second edition of the Circular Valley Forum takes place. More than 1,000 decision-makers are expected at the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal to discuss the future of the circular economy. The highlight will be the historic signing of the "Memorandum of Understanding" on the development of a cross-border circular economy between North Rhine-Westphalia and Flanders, represented by Minister President Hendrik Wüst and Flemish Minister President Jan Jambon. Minister Mona Neubaur is also expected to attend the meeting. The first Circular Valley Forum had already attracted media attention; our editorial team reported live on the art event "Trash People" by environmental artist HA Schult. In recent months, Circular Valley has mainly been in the media because it has announced partnerships with industry.

The aim is to set an example for the development of a cross-border circular economy.
