Valentino opens its new boutique in Paris. The essences: A red carpet of course and again a collaboration with renowned artisans and artists such as Fabio Cinti, Massimiliano Pipolo and Alexandre Logé.

From 15 June to 15 July 2023, Gioele Amaro, one of Pierpaolo Piccioli's favourite artists, will be exhibiting.

Fashion, 27 May 2023: On 20 May 2023, Maison Valentino unveiled its new shop in Paris. The most French of the Italian fashion houses has moved into a new boutique in Paris and of course it is newly located on Avenue Montaigne. So the fashion house's expansion continues, with 2022 boutiques newly opened or designed in Madrid, Venice, Jeddah, Geneva, New Delhi, Florence and coming soon to New York and Shanghai.

The concept: collaborations with artisans and artists

The Maison continued its collaborations with artisans and artists and so the hammered brass showcases are by Fabio Cinti, the ceramic handles are by Massimiliano Pipolo, Valentino's Visual Merchandising Director and the plaster lamps are made by Parisian artist Alexandre Logé, a master of free forms. Then there are the obligatory Roman touches - marble, onyx, chequerboard patterns, metaphysical geometries - grouped around a spectacular staircase. An important element in the boutiques is, of course, the red carpet. Red is Valentino's colour but also refers to the creations for the really big events, like at the Met Gala. The most striking gown of the evening, a rose creation with a metre-long train, was worn by Rihanna.

Gioele Amaro

Another highlight of the Paris boutique will be an art exhibition by Italian artist Gioele Amaro, from 15 June to 15 July 2023. The artist, who has already collaborated with Valentino on the occasion of the Re-Signify Part II exhibition in Beijing in 2021, has also designed a piece of art that will be displayed on a billboard on Avenue de l'Opéra from 15 June 2023. Lucky people who are in Paris can scan the QR code on the billboard and receive a special Valentino gift.
