13 July 2022: The Trophy Trunk is made to safely transport and protect famous trophies such as the Soccer and Rugby World Cups, the David Cup or the America's Cub. The House of Louis Vuitton has long dreamed of creating a book about this work.

According to the house, each trophy case is handmade by artisans at the Louis Vuitton Atelier in Asnières, France, sometimes taking more than 400 hours of work.

The cases for French Open winners feature a terracotta interior reminiscent of the sandy floor of Roland Garros, while a "V" on the front, reminiscent of the lines of a tennis court, adds the finishing touch.

In the book, see the custom trophy case designed for the championship of League of Legends, one of the world's most popular multiplayer video games. Here, the case is accented with five LEDs. Finished in Louis Vuitton Epi Leather, Monogram Canvas or Damier Graphite, the silver and gold trophies in the case shine as they are presented to the best athletes history has ever seen. Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunks also accompanied Rafael Nadal from his tenth French Open title in 2017 to the French team's victory over Croatia at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The exterior is finished with lozine trimming and the same brass corner protectors, lock and clasps that have been used on Louis Vuitton trunks since the 1860s. For the first time in the trophy trunk collection, the case is lined with rich Louis Vuitton leather, in the same Pantone blue colour as the V decoration.

Maison Valentino The Beginning Haute Couture FW 22 23 - 8 July 2022, Spanish Steps in Rome. "Beauty comes from harmony" says Pierpaolo Piccioli, referring also to the harmony of society. The magic hour began when the sun set on the Spanish Steps on 8 July 2022, bathing the houses in a golden light. Valentino beings strode down the Spanish Steps and went to the historic Valentino Atelier in Piazza Mignanelli. The concept: Pierpaolo Piccioli wants to bring the people and ideas that were once on the margins into focus, to make them protagonists. An idea that expands the spectrum of beauty.
