Düsseldorf, 28 July 2022: Even Marlene Dietrich, Hermann Hesse and Thomas Mann knew how to appreciate Sylt. Since the 1920s, Sylt has magically attracted painters, writers, actors and other celebrities. In the 1960s, artist and collector Gunter Sachs and his then wife Brigitte Bardot were drawn to Sylt. Sachs enthused at the time: "Sylt exhilarates with its bright nights and its own joie de vivre."

For 3 years now, Sylt has had another attraction in the form of the Sylt Art Fair.

Up to and including Saturday, 10 September 2022, the Düsseldorf gallery Geuer & Geuer and the artstar publishing house are putting on an exhibition on 600 sqm - from contemporary art to street art to pop art with artists such as:

Works by world stars of art and emerging artists such as Heinz Mack, Imi Knoebel, Tony Cragg, Sigmar Polke, Gottfried Helnwein, Günther Uecker, Gerhard Richter, Julian Schnabel, Damien Hirst will be on display, Stephan Kaluza, David LaChapelle, Jonathan Meese, Markus Lüpertz, Niclas Castello, Jeff Koons, Hermann Nitsch, Bryan Adams, Igor Oleinikov, Stefan Szczesny, Jiri Dokoupil, Gaby Fey, Ben Buechner, David Gerstein and others.

Already since its first realisation in 2020, the SyltArtFair has repeatedly received prominent visitors. Seen were: Dieter Nuhr, Michael Patrick Kelly, Federal Minister of Finance Christian Lindner, who visited the exhibition after his wedding, football coach Jürgen Klopp, top model and entrepreneur Barbara Meier, Olympic fencing champion Britta Heidemann, TV presenter Wolfram Kons and Daimler Truck chief communicator Jörg Howe, who even placed his own talk format right away.

In August 2022, Niclas Castello, the inventor of the Castello Cube, is expected at the 3rd SyltArtFair together with his wife Sylvie Meis.

Gallery owner Dirk Geuer explains the exhibition concept of the SyltArtFair: "With the SyltArtFair we continue to follow our philosophy: to make art visible and approachable - for everyone." At the fair there are regular events such as artist talks, art nights or vernissages in the presence of the artists.
