Düsseldorf, 17 July 2022: The museum presents its latest installation "ABBA Voyage", a project that the ABBA members have been working on for many years and which is the precursor to the "ABBA Voyage" series in London. The original idea was to recreate the four of them as 3D digital avatars to create a live concert where everything but ABBA was live. The project grew and suddenly the group had the idea that it would be fun to make new music for the concert as well.
Virtual Experiences
Visitors to the ABBA Museum can virtually stand on stage in the original costumes and sing karaoke to the songs - as the 5th member of ABBA. A dream come true!
In a helicopter to the island of Viggsö
Then you can even virtually fly in a helicopter to Viggsö Island, where the recording studio where many ABBA songs were composed was located.
Gold Room
Here you will find all the original ABBA gold records.
The Shop
Owe Sandström's costumes for ABBA are legendary and a piece of contemporary history from the 70s. The cat costumes he designed for the band are particularly special. In the shop or online, visitors can buy a replica of the dress Agnetha or Frida wore for about 70 euros or an ABBA polar cape and a knitted hat with sequins.

Breaking up is never easy
"... and we never really broke up. It was a gradual thing. We didn't say good-bye. It was more like: "Let's go out there and try the new stuff we've been wanting to do for so long and then we'll get back together again when the time is right." And we did all that other stuff, but the time somehow never seemed right to get back together again. By the mid-80s we all thought ABBA would fade into oblivion. Little did we I know ..."
