Where To Go, February 20, 2023
If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam you might manage to grab a ticket to the world's largest Vermeer exhibition. The right hotel for this is located in the direct neighborhood of the Rijksmuseum, the Designhotel Conservatorium.

February 20, 2023: A spring break art trip to Amsterdam. The Conservatorium Hotel is located in Amsterdam's Museumskwartier, within walking distance of the Van Gogh Museum, Concertgebouw, Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark. Art travelers were naturally shocked to learn that the world's largest Vermeer exhibition is already said to be sold out, but word is that the museum is working on longer museum hours. The Van Gogh Museum, for example, is showing "Choosing Vincent," an exhibition devoted entirely to the family of Vincent Van Gogh, a family without whom the life, work and even the museum itself would not have been possible, until April 10, 2023.

Amsterdam becomes even more beautiful
Amsterdam also launches from 2023 the so-called "Stay-Away Action" against tourists who come to Amsterdam only for alcohol, drugs and sex. Lt. Sofyan Mbarki, deputy mayor of Amsterdam, museums, Grachtengordel and freedom are to be brought more to the foreground.
The Hotel
Originally designed by Dutch architect Daniel Knuttel in the 19th century as the Rijkspostspaarbank, the current Grandhotel subsequently housed musicians for years as a conservatory. In 2008, the hotel was redesigned by Milanese designer Piero Lissoni. The Gothic character of the building was retained, while new elements, such as the covered glass courtyard, were added to create a contrast between antiquity and modernity. Travelers now have access to a range of restaurants, a bar, a lounge and the 1,000-square-foot Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Spa. The Amsterdam Conservatorium Hotel has 129 rooms and suites.

Art Cologne 2022. The results. The art market works. Figures reported. Art Cologne came to an end today. Now taking place in autumn, Art Cologne was well prepared, with a new hall layout, wide plazas, floor strips and security. Around 43,000 people visited the fair to see the curated range of contemporary works, classical modernism and post-war German art. It was questionable how the results would turn out, given the energy crisis and the Ukraine war: Read on if you're interested in numbers:

Can a recipe book talk about the relationship between love and food? Certainly, especially when the recipes are called "Cooking Moonlight Risotto". Francesco Cavallo, the well-known Florentine personality and owner of the Hotel Cellai has launched his first literary work, the cookbook „Cucina d‘amore e libertà“. The British rock band Placebo has released a limited vinyl edition "Placebo Paint", designed by the exceptional British artist Stuart Semple. Stuart Semple, also known as the "pigment activist", was the first to raise the issue of the intellectual property of a paint. Also in the media was his legal dispute with the English artist Anish Kapoor, in which he criticised the so-called monopolisation of "Vantablack". His new colour creation "Placebo", a beautifully changing shade of purple, is available to everyone.
