Düsseldorf, 16 August 2022: Beats and fashion icon and hugely successful entrepreneur Kim Kardashian have launched the result of their collaboration, the brand's latest True Wireless earbuds. For the first time, earbuds are now available in skin tones. "Beats x Kim" is available online at Apple.com/kim from Tuesday 16 August and in Apple shops from Wednesday 17 August for £229.95. Below is a list of Apple shops where the "Beats x Kim" will be available from tomorrow.

What are the features of the Beats Fit Pro?

They have Adaptive Noise Cancellation technology that allows you to block out ambient noise, but at the same time have a Transparency Mode that lets outside noise through so you can hear when you need to, even for your own safety. They also support 3D audio with head tracking for immersive music, movies and games. Controls on the device let you manage your music, switch between listening modes, answer calls and activate the voice assistant with the b button. The Beats Fit Pro have up to 24 hours of playback. When the battery is low, 5 minutes of charging with Fast Fuel gives you up to 1 hour of additional playback time.

Commenting on their collaboration, Kim Kardashian said she painted different colours and approached Beats with her idea : "I wanted to break the idea that headphones have to be colourful to make a statement. This collaboration is special because you can blend in or stand out, and Beats is known for creating products that show individuality."

Was zeichnet die Beats Fit Pro aus?

Sie haben eine adaptive Geräuschunterdrückungstechnologie, mit der man die Geräusche der Umgebung ausblenden können aber gleichzeitig einen Transparenzmodus, der Außengeräusche durchlässt und man bei Bedarf hören kann auch zur eigenen Sicherheit. Sie unterstützen ausserdem 3D Audio mit Headtracking für immersive Musik, Filme und Spiele. 

Mit den Bedienelementen auf dem Gerät kann man seine Musik verwalten, zwischen den Hörmodi umschalten, Anrufe entgegennehmen sowie den Sprachassistenten mit der b-Taste aktivieren. Die Beats Fit Pro haben bis zu 24 Stunden Wiedergabe. Bei niedriger Batterie erhält man mit 5 Minuten Laden mit Fast Fuel bis zu 1 Stunde zusätzliche Wiedergabezeit.

Kim Kardashian sagte zu ihrer Zusammenarbeit, dass sie verschiedene Farben gemalt habe und mit ihrer Idee auf Beats zugegangen sei : “Ich wollte mit der Vorstellung brechen, dass Kopfhörer bunt sein müssen, um ein Statement zu setzen. Diese Zusammenarbeit ist etwas Besonderes, weil man sich damit einfügen oder abheben kann, und Beats ist bekannt dafür, Produkte zu kreieren, die Individualität zeigen."

"Beats x Kim" will be available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Germany and Japan on Tuesday, August 16 at 7 a.m. PT online at Apple.com/kim, priced at $199.99 or €229.95. Starting August 17, the collaboration will be available in limited quantities at select Apple Stores and exclusive authorised resellers (by country):
