Zendaya & Lewis Hamilton are Valentino's DiVAs
for the Fall Winter 22-23 campaign.
DiVA stands for DI.fferent VA.lues and refers to a multi-layered character of codes and inner values.

Dusseldorf, 5 August 2022: Zendaya and Lewis Hamilton represent Maison Valentino's Fall Winter 22-23 campaign as testimonials. Head designer Pierpaolo Piccioli recently created the term DiVA, which stands for DI.fferent VA.lues. A contemporary Valentino DiVA, the designer explains, stands for a multi-layered character of codes and inner values.
Pink PP aims to convey the heritage of Maison Valentino through a modern lens
Pink PP is a patented shade created by Pierpaolo Piccioli in collaboration with the Pantone Institute and had its premiere at Le Carreau du Temple, Paris on 6 March 2022. The hue was radically declined to all clothes, accessories and interiors. VALENTINO PINK PP COLLECTION AW 22 23. The shade pink is an evolution of Valentino Rosso, of which there are now more than 550 different shades in the Maison's archives. For Pierpaolo Piccioli, creating PP Pink was a necessity because he wants to convey Valentino's heritage through a modern lens.

Eine zeitgenössische Valentino DiVA, so führt der Designer aus, steht für einen vielschichtiger Charakter aus Codes und inneren Werten.
Pink PP soll das Erbe von Maison Valentino durch eine moderne Linse vermitteln
Pink PP ist ein patentierter Farbton, der von Pierpaolo Piccioli gemeinsam mit dem Pantone Institut geschaffen wurde und seine Uraufführung im Le Carreau du Temple, Paris am 6. März 2022 hatte. Der Farbton wurde radikal auf sämtliche Kleider, Accessoires und Inneneinrichtungen dekliniert. Der Farbton Pink ist eine Weiterentwicklung des Valentino Rosso, von dem es mittlerweile mehr als 550 verschiedene Farbtöne in den Archiven des Maison gibt. Für Pierpaolo Piccioli ist die Erschaffung des PP Pink eine Notwendigkeit, denn er will das Erbe von Valentino durch eine moderne Linse vermitteln.

For the VALENTINO PINK PP COLLECTION head designer Pierpaolo Piccioli created dresses with the experimental drive of a radical gesture. The color palette was reduced to a single shade of pink, created together with the Pantone Color Institute. The color pink created a unique identity in the show, it was an absolute individuality and unrepeatability. The pink dresses harmonized even in different fabric variations, buttons or hardware - a masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship.
Why Pink
"PINK PP is a manifestation of the unconscious and a liberation from the necessity of realism." Pierpaolo Piccioli. Originally, pink was always designed for women, but the designer now wants to offer it as a neutral colour for men. "Through Pink PP, our two DiVAs express a sense of freedom, community and energy."

DiVAs (DI.fferent VA.lues = DIVAS) springs from another of Pierpaolo Piccioli's missions to promote authenticity, progressive values and diversity by bringing people together across cultures. DiVAs (DI.fferent VA.lues = DIVAS
DiVAs (DI.fferent VA.lues = DIVAS) entspringt einer weiteren Mission von Pierpaolo Piccioli, Authentizität, progressive Werte und Vielfalt zu fördern, indem er Menschen über Kulturen hinweg zusammenbringt. Der Designer stützt sich dabei auf kreative Möglichkeiten, die von Kino über Musik bis hin zu Sport reichen, und um Verbindungen zwischen bedeutenden Menschen zu schaffen.

His first DiVA ambassador is seven-time Formula One World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton. When Lewis isn't in a racing suit, he's involved in charities or even creative endeavours such as music or fashion. In this way, Lewis works to bring about change in motorsport. He also set up his own charity foundation Mission 44 in the year, which aims to support young people from underrepresented groups in the UK through collaborations and grants. "As Di.Va Testimonial, he stands for diversity, equality and above all, love. I couldn't think of a better friend for this campaign," said Piccioli. "It will convey a sensitive, human and inspiring message, and it will be true to the person behind the celebrity."
For the Valentino campaign, Lewis was photographed by Nicolas Kern. The photo shows the racing driver in an all-pink outfit, looking down at a can of pink paint and a brush with which he has just written the manifesto: "Still I Rise".

Sein erster DiVA Botschafter ist der siebenfache Formel-1-Weltmeister Sir Lewis Hamilton. Wenn Lewis nicht gerade in einem Rennanzug stecket, engagiert er sich wohltätig oder auch im kreativen Umfeld wie Musik oder Mode. So arbeitet Lewis darauf hin, Veränderungen im Motorsport zu erreichen. Außerdem gründete er im Jahr seine eigene Wohltätigkeitsstiftung Mission 44, die junge Menschen aus unterrepräsentierten Gruppen in Großbritannien durch Kooperationen und Zuschüsse fördern soll. "Als Di.Va Testimonial steht er für Vielfalt, Gleichberechtigung und vor allem für die Liebe. Ich könnte mir keinen besseren Freund für diese Kampagne vorstellen", sagte Piccioli. "Sie wird eine einfühlsame, menschliche und inspirierende Botschaft vermitteln, und sie wird wahrhaftig sein, wie die Person hinter dem Prominenten."
Für die Valentino Kampagne wurde Lewis von Nicolas Kern fotografiert. Das Foto zeigt den Rennfahrer in einem komplett pinkfarbenen Outfit, wobei er auf eine Dose mit pinker Farbe hinunterschaut und einem Pinsel, mit dem er gerade das Manifest geschrieben hat: "Still I Rise".

Maison Valentino The Beginning Haute Couture FW 22 23 - 8 July 2022 Spanish Steps in Rome. "Beauty comes from harmony" says Pierpaolo Piccioli, referring also to the harmony of society. The magic hour began when the sun set on the Spanish Steps on 8 July 2022, bathing the houses in a golden light. Valentino beings strode down the Spanish Steps and went to the historic Valentino Atelier in Piazza Mignanelli. The concept: Pierpaolo Piccioli wants to bring the people and ideas that were once on the margins into focus, to make them protagonists. An idea that expands the spectrum of beauty.

The other testimonial for the Autumn Winter 22-23 collection is Piccioli's muse Zendaya. In the images, also photographed by Nicolas Kern, she wears a mini dress, matching gloves with chunky platform boots and a studded handbag. She was also photographed in another outfit wearing an oversized suit with a sheer top.
Expressive Zendaya
Valentino has enlisted Euphoria actress Zendaya and Formula One star Sir Lewis Hamilton for the latest Valentino collection and the full campaign is set to be released next week. Zendaya was named the global Valentino brand ambassador in April 2020, as Pierpaolo Piccioli says she perfectly embodies and represents what Maison Valentino stands for in today's world. "She is a powerful and fierce young woman that uses her talent and her work to express herself, her values and her generation as well."

Das andere Testimonial der Herbst Winter 22-23 Kollektion ist Picciolis Muse Zendaya. Auf den ebenfalls von Nicolas Kern fotografierten Bildern trägt sie ein Minikleid, passende Handschuhe mit klobigen Plateaustiefeln und eine Nietenhandtasche. Sie wurde auch in einem anderen Outfit fotografiert, in dem sie einen oversize Anzug mit einem durchsichtigen Oberteil trägt.

Valentino hat die Euphoria-Darstellerin Zendaya und den Formel-1-Star Sir Lewis Hamilton für die neueste Valentino-Kollektion engagiert und die komplette Kampagne soll nächste Woche veröffentlicht werden. Zendaya wurde im April 2020 zur globalen Valentino Markenbotschafterin ernannt, da sie, so wie Pierpaolo Piccioli sagt, perfekt verkörpert und repräsentiert, wofür Maison Valentino in der heutigen Zeit steht.
