Düsseldorf, 24 September 2022: "Addiction" is the title of Leon Löwentraut's new exhibition at his Austrian gallerist Gerald Hartinger in Vienna. The Hartinger Gallery has specialised in modern art for over 15 years, especially works of American Pop Art. Leon Löwentraut chose the title "Addiction" because he says he has been addicted to art since his early childhood. On display are 13 paintings - including the titular work "Addiction" (size: 230 x 190 cm) as well as charcoal drawings. All the works were created this year, some of them in Leon Löwentraut's second home, Portugal.

The artist said beforehand that his greatest inspiration is meeting and talking to people - often while travelling. He processes his impressions in sketches made on the road, which he continues in his studio.
