Düsseldorf, 26 November 2022: The German artist Leon Löwentraut is considered a shooting star of the European art scene: just 24 years old, he inspires but also polarises with his exhibition openings all over Europe. Leon Löwentraut had his first exhibition at the age of 15 - in a gallery near Munich. Two years later he had his first major picture show in London, followed by exhibitions all over the world. "Child prodigy" or "pop star of art" were the headlines of the media.

In Miami, Leon Löwentraut can of course be seen from next week at Art Miami with his new gallery owner Galerie Rother from Wiesbaden with four new works. Galerie Rother prefers to show contemporary painting and sculpture. Art Miami is one of the most important fairs for contemporary art and opens its doors on 30 November to 4 December.

The artist also has a solo show at the international Rudolf Budja Gallery. "Reflection of a Soul" is a picture show with 12 works. The Grand Opening with Strict Guest List will take place on Wednesday 30 November at 7.30pm, 1330 18th Street, Miami Beach, Florida, 33139, with TV broadcast.

Gallery owner Rudolf Budja says: "Leon Löwentraut is a youngster who is entering the art market in a whole new way and doing his thing. We have an exciting audience in Miami that is open to new things. Why am I giving Leon a solo show? He and his work have impressed me a lot. But not only that: also the way he stages himself and his art. It's highly interesting from an art-historical point of view, I see a new trend there. Leon is a total work of art."

Rudolf Budja Gallery will also be present at Art Miami, where a painting by Löwentraut will be on display.

HA Schult's Trash People at the Circular Valley Forum in Wuppertal on 18 November 2022."Check the thing you want to throw away and don't give it away. It is the mirror of yourself. Don't betray your soul." 600 decision-makers from business and politics came together, including environmental activists from the early days such as HA Schult and former Federal Environment Minister Klaus Töpfer, described by the Forum as the "father of the circular economy". The participants were surprised by the Trash People, many of whom had never seen the artworks up close before. But the performance also shows what role artists play. They are not among the decision-makers, but art has the power to unite and emotionalise people, as it did on this evening.
